Product description: Designed as a “game changer” for Robern brand and for the Kitchen and Bath Industry, the Uplift Cabinets feature doors that open vertically, offering the aesthetics of a seamless mirror. Additional consumer benefits include an integrated nightlight in the handle, mirror defogger, TV mounting system, electrical outlets, small accessory storage compartments, pull out pivoting magnification mirror and a cable management system.
Inspiration for the product idea came from researching trends in European kitchen cabinetry design and from working knowledge while designing furniture and other technology products that incorporate cable management systems. The product concept was instantly embraced by executive management. It met a need as a unique and innovative storage and grooming solution that is ideal for the Robern consumer.
The Uplift Suite enables the creation of a personalized and expressive grooming space. By providing customizable solutions, it addresses “his and hers” storage needs and the need to hide clutter in the bath space. Available in 30”, 36” and 48” widths, the cabinet complements a wide variety of vanity sizes and bath space requirements. Since the door opens vertically, the Uplift Cabinet can also be placed behind the faucet and reach down to the top of a counter for ease of use in some applications. The Suite also includes complimentary luminaries that are perfect for task and grooming applications, as well as, providing a subtle night light solution.
The Uplift Cabinet design recently received a Best of Year 2009 Product Design Merit Award presented by Interior Design Magazine and a Most Innovative Product 2009 Merit Award by Kitchen & Bath Business Magazine.
