M Series cabinet with Cold Storage
M Series cabinet with Cold Storage
2007

Designed for: Kohler/Robern brand

Role: Lead Industrial Designer

Product description: This cabinet was developed in part as a response to the Baby Boomers’ affinity for redefining their lives and living spaces as they age. This population uses a myriad of products that help them look and feel vibrant and attractive, many of which require cold storage in order to maintain their quality. Robern’s mirrored Cold Storage cabinet also addresses a need regarding the growing trend in luxury homes where a private spa or home gym may now join a master bath to create a suite. In an age where homeowners are spatially "blending the boundaries", it unites elegance with convenience.

Introduced at the 2007 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show, the Cold Storage unit incorporates Peltier thermoelectric cooling technology and is able to maintain ideal cooling temperatures for chilling vitamins and supplements, organically based cosmetics, cold compresses, as well as, liquids and beverages.

Regarded as a perfect accessory for multiple rooms in the house, the cabinet devotes half of its space to an enclosed cold storage compartment. Its style and functionality make it a wonderful addition to luxury homes and reinforces Robern's industry standing as a leader in product innovation and high-quality storage solutions.
